香港理工大学建环学院属下的＂可持续城市发展研究院＂将于2016年8月19-25日举办有关“智能城市”研究的夏令营，浙江大学有两个名额。现将有关事项通知如下。

一、申请人条件：

• Full-time postgraduate students pursuing a Master’s degree programme.

• Current PhD students are also eligible for the Summer School.      Priority would be given to students pursuing a Master’s degree programme.      At least half of the quota will be allocated to the group of students.

• The applicants should have a strong interest in a research/academic      career, excellent communication skills as well as good leadership potential.

• The academic performance of successful applicants is expected to be      within the top 10% of students from leading universities (e.g. Chinese      mainland universities of the 985 project).

• For applicants who are not a native speaker of English and from non-English      speaking universities, they are expected to meet the following      requirements:

• An overall score of at least 6.5 (with score for the writing       component at 6.0 or above) in the International English Language Testing       System (IELTS); or

• At least 575 or above in the Test of English as a Foreign Language       (TOEFL) for the paper-based test, at least 232 in the computer-based       test, or at least 90 in the internet-based test.

• Alternatively, consideration will be       given to acceptable scores in other internationally-recognised public       examinations, such as the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the       Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).

二、相关费用：

    免除学费、住宿（与其他学生同住）及报销来回经济舱机票(学生须先自行购买，上限为HK$4,000)。

三、申请及选拔程序：

    符合申请条件者，经导师及所在院系审核同意后，准备以下材料申请，并请于2016年4月7日前提交研究生院培养处（玉泉校区教11-212）

1、登录浙江大学研究生教育管理信息服务平台，在对外交流项目中填写申请表，申请项目名称请选择“香港理工大学夏令营”；

2、外语水平证明；

3、成绩单（本科及研究生）。

请申请人到香港理工大学网站填写报名表（网址：https://myacs.polyu.edu.hk/utils/mysurvey/index.php/321317/lang-en）。香港理工大学会根据报名情况进行遴选，录取的学生将获个别通知。
