In the just-concluded 1st China College Computing Contest - Artificial Intelligence Innovation Contest, students from the College of Computer Science and Technology have won several prizes, including a grand prize, a first prize and a second prize.

More than one thousand teams from 369 universities at home and abroad signed up for the competition. After online screening and expert review, a total of 120 teams entered the semi-finals. 37 of them were selected to the final pitch. In late August, all the finalists participated in a five-day training camp organized by Baidu in Beijing. On Oct. 26, all the final teams made a public pitch and went through the Q&A session.

A total of six teams from Zhejiang University signed up for the contest. HU Sihao, YUAN Jiaqi and WU Zetian’s idea “Intelligent Financial Risk Control Model for Mobile Phone Rental Business” won a grand prize. “You speak I paint” by ZHANG Shengyu, JIANG Yinjie and LIAO Binbing won the first prize, and “Intelligent Recognition and Auxiliary Diagnosis System for Thyroid Nodule Images”by ZJU students thrives at the 1st China College Computing Contest - Artificial Intelligence Innovation Contest

Ping, KONG Ming, ZHAO Tianqi won a second prize.

ZJU President Wu Zhaohui and Prof. Zheng Nanning, member of Chinese Academy of Engineering awarded the First Prize winners.

China College Computing Contest - Artificial Intelligence Innovation Contest is a science and technology competition for university students of all majors. It was hosted by Computer Science Professional Teaching Steering Committee and Software Engineering Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education.
