China Scholarship Council(CSC) recently announced the first cohort of the 2021 funded International Cooperative Training Programs for Innovative Talents. With well-prepared application materials and perfect on-site defense performance, three programs declared by Zhejiang University were ultimately selected for funding with support from CSC.

The three programs funded are declared by Life Sciences Institute, School of Materials Science and Engineering, College of Chemical and Biological Engineering of Zhejiang University.

Since 2014, the China Scholarship Council has established “the International Cooperative Training Programs for Innovative Talents”, aiming to better serve the national strategy, to boost the comprehensive reform in the field of education and to promote the construction of first-class universities and first-class disciplines, to cultivate more innovative, compound, urgently-needed talents with international background. The program focuses on supporting cooperation between first-class universities at home and abroad, as well as cooperation in advantageous disciplines at home and abroad. The implementation period of the approved programs is 3 years. The China Scholarship Council will provide a scholarship to successful applicants to cover the international airfare and the living stipend during the funding period.
